Tile Installation Recommendations

1.Substrate Preparation

Before installation, ensure the wall/floor substrate is flat, dry, and free of oil, dust, or loose debris. For uneven surfaces, use cement mortar to level it; for low-water-absorption tiles (e.g., polished porcelain), apply an interface agent to improve adhesion between the tile and substrate.

2.Paving Technique

Sort tiles by model and texture first to maintain a consistent pattern. Use cross spacers (1~3mm width recommended) to keep tile joints uniform. Tap tiles gently with a rubber hammer to ensure full contact with the tile adhesive. Avoid stepping on newly paved tiles within 24 hours：wait for the adhesive to fully cure before proceeding to joint pointing.

3.Joint Pointing

Use a tile-specific grout that matches the tile color. Before grouting, clean dust and debris from the joints. Apply grout with a scraper, then wipe excess grout off the tile surface with a damp sponge once the grout starts to set (usually after 10-15 minutes) to avoid residue affecting the tile’s appearance.

4.Waterproofing & Maintenance

For tiles in damp areas (bathrooms, kitchens), complete waterproofing on the substrate first: apply 2+ coats of waterproof coating and conduct a 24-hour water-tightness test to ensure no leakage. After installation, clean tiles with a neutral cleaner (avoid acidic/alkaline cleaners) to prevent surface damage.

Mosaic Installation Recommendations

1.Substrate Prep

2.Paving Prep

Mesh-mounted: Trim to size, keep patterns continuous at joints.
Paper-mounted: Lightly spray water 5-10 mins in advance to soften paper.
Use neutral adhesive for glass/metal mosaics; cement-based for ceramic ones.

3.Paving Process

Apply 3-6mm thick adhesive with a 3-5mm notched trowel. Press mosaic sheets, tap gently with a rubber hammer to expel air. Control 1-2mm gaps (use spacers for paper-mounted). Tear paper at 45° after 2-3 hours (adhesive set).

4.Joint Pointing

After 24hrs (adhesive cured), clean gaps. Press mosaic-specific grout (match/contrast color) into gaps. Wipe residue with damp sponge in 10-15 mins; polish with dry cloth after another
24hrs.

5.Maintenance

Avoid water/heavy pressure for 48hrs post-construction. Use waterproof grout + 24hr water test for wet areas. Clean with neutral cleaner; keep metal mosaics away from corrosives.

Bathroom Product Installation Recommendations

1.Sanitary Ware Installation

Before installing sanitary ware such as toilets and washbasins, check whether the positions of the sewage outlet and water inlet are compatible with the product. Use sealant (mildew-proof sealant is recommended) to seal the interface during installation to prevent water leakage. After installation, test the drainage and water inlet functions to ensure no blockage or leakage.

2.Hardware Accessories Installation

When installing hardware accessories such as faucets and shower heads, ensure the interfaces are tightened to avoid water leakage due to looseness. For accessories that need to be fixed on the wall (such as towel racks and storage racks), select appropriate expansion screws to ensure firm installation, and the load-bearing capacity meets the product specification requirements.
